European Fishermen fight for their Lives Against the European Commission Free-Trade Malthusianism
Black propaganda operations targetting the growing ferment against
rising food prices and scarcity have been launched in Germany by socalled "experts".
These "experts" are, in fact, propagandists for the EU
Commission's policy of destroying the traditional family farm in
Europe, and they have no trouble getting covered in the German
media.
Targetting the dairy farmers' protests, Bernhard Bruemmer
attacks the "new milk price cartel" that "would oppose the free
market," adding that the milk delivery boycott of Germany's
farmers (to dairies) would go nowhere, because dairy farmers in
Denmark and the Netherlands would easily step in and deliver to
German dairies. That, he says, is the law of the free market, and
nobody should interfere.
Achim Spiller, another of these "experts," also warned that
the milk delivery boycott can't achieve its aims, because many
dairies simply could not pay the price which the farmers say they
need. Many dairies produce almost exclusively for the globalized
market, and therefore depend on the laws of the market as they
exist on the world level. If dairies paid the farmers what they
demand, he warned, they would go bankrupt, because they would
lose all competitiveness.
Lastly, Stephan von Cramon-Traubadel said that "the approach
of the European Union over the past 15 years, namely to replace
agricultural subsidies with direct payments for special services
to protect the environment, has to be supported."
